A rising tide lifts all boats
Our town, on the banks of the Susquehanna River, once benefitted from the river and the trade it brought to our region. That former wealth is reflected in our historic homes and landmarks. But those days are long gone. Our economy has been been struggling since the decline of manufacturing. Yet you can feel change in the air. With our new river trail, and some risk takers who are investing their labor and money into town, you can feel that things are at the tipping point. First National Coworking is a hub that is part of this renewal. It's not only a professional place to get work done, it's also a community of professionals (mainly service providers) and students, who can exchange information, experiences, resources, and encouragement. Or, for the introvert, it can just be a quiet distraction-free place to work. However you want to use our space, our vision is to rise on the tide of resurgence that collaboration and sharing accelerates. Join us, and make history.
Meet the Team
Risk takers, oddballs, creatives, professionals, hard workers, community advocates, outdoor enthusiasts, parents, pet owners, gardeners, crafters, fixers, fun-seekers ... and probably a few more names depending on whom you ask.

Abby Ulrich
Wrangler
Abby is a lovable freak. Her incredible talent can be seen throughout our space as we slowly-but-surely fix it, elevate it, magnify it, curate it, and respect its history. She can often be seen lassoing Steve (right) who does his best to come up with ideas to keep Abby entertained and terrified.
Abby is an amazing craftsperson, and also has a healing touch. She worked for over a decade in the care of the elderly, running activities, nursing, and most recently in the Memory Support Unit at St. Anne's Retirement Community. She works part time for a holistic chiropractor in Mountville.

Stephen Ulrich
Mad Hatter
In addition to founding First National Coworking, Steve teaches Video Production and Editing at Lebanon Valley College, and owns www.mydigitalconversion.com, and First National Escape Room. After coworking at The Candy Factory coworking space for 7 years, he had the vision and experience to bring coworking to Marietta. He enjoys rare downtime on the river with his family. He made his first bank deposit at our coworking building when it was an actual bank when he was just a lad. He got the entrepreneurial bug by mowing lawns along Front and Market streets.

Lucia Schnitzel
DOG
Lucia is a dog that has domesticated Abby. Steve is unable to be trained.
Lucia doesn't do much. She keeps an eye on Abby, mostly.
This space for a picture could be yours. Abby and Steve are here at First National Coworking running the show, and they welcome other humans who need a professional place to work. We are a small coworking space, and we rely on coworkers to help with the daily opening and closing routine, password help, and general goings on. If you are interested in joining us, contact us to schedule a tour.
